MOS4N Spotlight on ... England
Our third day of ‘Spotlight Profiles’ is on some of the English Finalists for the MOS Four Nations Championship.

The first ‘Spotlight’ is on David Turo from Dudley College. David  is the Word Finalist representing England.
  • Describe yourself in 3 words? "Active, Honest, Motivated."
  • What do you like to do in your spare time? “Sports activities.”
  • What’s your favourite bit of technology, and why? “Windows, because there are a lot of different features which you can customise for your own comfort!"
  • Who’s your role model, and why? “My Mother – because she infilled me with lots of good values.”
  • Who’s your favourite musician? “Tiesto.”
  • What’s the best bit of advice you’ve been given, and by who? “Education is very important to achieve your future goals and to help further your career – My Parents."
  • What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in life so far? “It is important to work hard during your studies and to complete everything to the highest ability you can.”
  • Which personal achievements are you most proud of? “I was a member of a football team which won a tournament final and I won a chess tournament when I was 7.”
  • What are your career aspirations? “My dream job would be working with computers, creating websites, working online”
  • What’s your personal motto? “Life is what you make it!” 

Next is Logan Cooper from Ormiston Park Academy. Logan is the Excel Finalist representing England.
  • Describe yourself in 3 words? "Intelligent, Achiever, Narcissistic."
  • What do you like to do in your spare time? “Play computer games, go out with friends and have fun”
  • What’s your favourite bit of technology, and why? “AR and VR as I think it could be improved on. Eventually it will be able to be like the games console that is on Sword Art Online.”
  • Who’s your role model, and why? “Mr. Boulter, as he has helped me and a lot of other students, he encouraged me to do the course and from this I have had a huge success.”
  • Who’s your favourite musician? “Panic! At the disco.”
  • What’s the best bit of advice you’ve been given, and by who? “Do the best that you can do and if you fail learn from your failure.  It was something I saw online.”
  • What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in life so far? “If you try your hardest then you will never have regrets.”
  • Which personal achievements are you most proud of? “Being the UK runner-up in word 2013 in 2015, being the UK champion and world finalist in PowerPoint in 2016 and going to the UK championships 3 years in a row”
  • What are your career aspirations? “To become a programmer and start a company based on designing a VR gaming console like on Sword Art Online”
  • What’s your personal motto? “Do your best in life otherwise you will regret it later on”
