The Company was established in 2000 and now has offices in Dublin, Ireland, London, UK, Sydney, Australia and New York, United States.

Prodigy Learning has worked closely with Microsoft since incorporation in 2000. The Company is a Microsoft Authorised Education Gold Partner and Global Training Partner supporting academic institutions with Microsoft Certifications, Minecraft: Education Edition and other Microsoft Education solutions.

New Market Entry: US
Prodigy Learning announced the opening of its US headquarters, located in New York City, at an opening event at the Rockefeller Center, NYC. The event was supported by the Irish Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys and the Irish State agency Enterprise Ireland.
Coding in Minecraft Launch
Below a billboard in Times Square, New York, Prodigy Learning launched “Coding in Minecraft” – a revolutionary new computer science curriculum, skills assessment and credentialing program developed by the Company. In addition, Certiport (a Pearson VUE business) was announced as the distributor of ‘Coding in Minecraft’ in the United States.
Exporter of the Year Award
Prodigy Learning received the Exporter of the Year Award sponsored by Enterprise Ireland at the SFA Awards 2019 in Dublin, Ireland. The award recognises outstanding achievement in companies who successfully export from the island of Ireland. Prodigy Learning now has >3,000 customers in the education, training, corporate and public sectors.
Microsoft Partner of the Year
Prodigy Learning received the Microsoft Partner of the Year Award at Certiport’s 2018 Global Partner Summit in Orlando, Florida. This Partner Award is presented by Microsoft for outstanding success in advancing Microsoft’s future ready skills solutions for education including the Microsoft certification programmes.
First CertMatters.Live
Prodigy Learning hosts the inaugural CertMatters.Live conference in London. This annual educator professional development event, brings together educators to listen, learn and collaborate with peers who share a passion for digital skills and certifications to improve education and student outcomes.
New Market Entry: Australia
Prodigy Learning enters the Asia Pacific market with the opening of an office in Sydney, Australia. The Company’s market entry was announced alongside a new partnership with Microsoft Australia to support their digital skills and STEM programmes in education.
New Market Entry: Europe
Prodigy Learning enters mainland Europe working with partners to provide a range of certification products and services. The Company is now operating in 44 countries worldwide.
Global Partner of the Year
Certiport (a Pearson VUE business) announced Prodigy Learning as the Global Partner of the Year award at the Certiport 2016 Global Partner Summit in Orlando, Florida. The award was in recognition of client professionalism, providing top tier customer and technical support, and business growth.
New Market Entry: UK
Building on the Company’s successful entry into Scotland, Prodigy Learning is appointed exclusive Certiport Solution Provider for the UK . Certiport’s vendor certifications are added into the Company’s Four Stage Learning Pathway, resulting in a bespoke EdTech digital skills learning platform. This proves highly successful and Prodigy Learning expands significantly.
New Market Entry: Scotland
Prodigy Learning enters the UK market, becoming the Certiport Authorised Partner for Scotland. This is the Company’s first entry into an overseas market, a milestone in Prodigy Learning’s geographic expansion.

Prodigy Learning is founded September 2000 in Dublin, Ireland. The Company becomes the Certiport (a Pearson VUE business) Authorised Partner for Ireland. The first step of the Company’s journey in providing global certification, credential and other online learning solutions begins.
