The winner of the 2018 Adobe ACA UK & Ireland Championship Final was announced on 22nd June 2018 in London.
Taylor Sharpe, who is studying in Coventry University, England, produced the winning design in the ACA UK & Ireland Championship Final. He will head to Orlando, Florida, USA for the ACA World Championship from July 29 – August 1st, 2018.
Taylor beat thousands of students across UK & Ireland in the Adobe ACA Championship Final, which took place on 22nd June 2018 in Design Museum London, alongside CertMatters.Live.
“Judges were blown away by the standard of creativity and effective use of Adobe digital design tools showcased at the ACA UK & Ireland Final, certification and participation in this final will be a key to successful academic and career pursuits!” said Andrew Flood (CEO, Prodigy Learning) “We are looking forward to Taylor representing UK & Ireland by showcasing his creativity at the MOS World Championship, we know he will perform very well”.
The ACA World Championship is a global competition that promotes industry certification and tests students’ design skills using Adobe Photoshop®, Adobe Illustrator® and Adobe InDesign®. Finalists are expected to come from 27 countries to demonstrate their proficiency using industry-leading Adobe software to complete a real-world design challenge for TakingITGlobal, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth to understand and act on the world’s greatest challenges.
Taylor will be joined in the Adobe ACA World Championship Final by Trinity Ingram (North Metropolitan TAFE, Perth) who qualified as the ACA Australian Champion.
