Prodigy Learning today are delighted to announce Barnardos as the charity partner for the virtual ACA UK & Ireland Championship Final on September 9th, 2021. Barnardos is the leading children’s charity, working across Ireland to give vulnerable children a better chance and improve their outcomes.
The Adobe Certified Associate World Championship is a global competition that identifies and honours the next generation of design professionals using Adobe software. The ACA UK & Ireland Final will bring together the 20 finalists on September 9th to determine the ACA UK & IE Champion 2021.
The event will see finalists compete in a design challenge where they will be given instructions, project requirements, and assets to complete a real–world design challenge for Barnardos using Adobe Creative Cloud software. The UK & Ireland Champion will be determined based on an evaluation of the finalists’ work.
The 2021 UK & Ireland Champion will win the opportunity to go on and compete at the virtual Adobe ACA World Championship in November 2021.
Kate Conroy (Head of Corporate Partnerships, Barnardos) commenting on the announcement said: “We are excited to be chosen as this year’s ACA World Championship charity. The right graphic design can be the difference between someone walking past one of our flyers and someone stopping, reading it, acting upon it and deciding to get involved and make a difference.”
“This opportunity is a golden one for us and something we really appreciate. We are very excited about the final on 9th September and look forward to seeing the incredible designs the finalists create. Thank you for supporting Barnardos.”
Andrew Flood (CEO, Prodigy Learning) added: “The ACA Championship presents a fantastic opportunity for us to give tangible benefit to a very deserving charity while also giving real-world design experience to a very talented group of design students.
We are excited to see the projects the students produce using Adobe Creative Cloud and will be proud to see the artwork used for such a good cause as Barnardos.”
