BETT 2020 was hands down the BEST BETT show yet for #TeamProdigy, breaking previous year’s records and exceeding all expectations. We had many key moments across the four days sharing the value of Future Ready Skills Certifications in education for tomorrow’s learners.
On 24th Jan at BETT, we launched CertMatters.Live 2020, our annual educator conference which will be held on 12th June in The Crystal, London – one of the World’s most sustainable building’s. To celebrate our launch, 100 leading educators at BETT received a Free CertMatters.Live ticket and a sustainable water bottle. Register for certmatters.com using code BETTCML now for your free ticket.
The huge social media engagement on our @certmatters Twitter account and @Prodigy Learning LinkedIn account included candidate success photos, showcase solution session insights, amazing giveaways and much more! If you missed BETT and the Certifications lab then catch up by viewing our BETT 2020 – Twitter Highlights.
It was hard to choose our key highlights from what #TeamProdigy got up to at BETT 2020, but here are our top three:
1. Microsoft Certifications Testing Lab
The Microsoft Certifications Testing Lab had reached pre-registration capacity before the show had even started! The demand from educators and students wanting to gain Certification was incredible.
We had a queue outside of the lab on each of the 4 days and managed 978 Microsoft certification exams in total! Thank you to all who attended and thank you for patience to all those who waited.
Who experienced Microsoft Certification Exams?
- A group of 13 Students from Bishop Thomas Grant School, earned certification and digital badges which they shared on social platforms, increasing their employability prospects.
- 100’s of Educators who earned Microsoft Certifications which included the new Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 Certification, and Microsoft Certified Educator Certification, increasing their productivity & efficiency using Microsoft tools in the classroom. One educator achieved 6 MTA’s & 3 MOS Certifications!
- Return candidates, including a family of four who attended in 2019. This year the eldest son came back and is now MOS Word Certified.
Educators are now returning to their classroom after BETT full of confidence and certified in the use of technology in the classroom to support better outcomes for their learners. Students left BETT with globally, industry-recognised validation of Microsoft Skills which will become key for them STANDING OUT to future employers across the globe.
Congratulations to all! Successful candidates photos were amplified throughout BETT on @certmatters and @Prodigy Learning social accounts. Find and tag yourself in our photo gallery.
2. Building Future Ready Skills – Microsoft Solutions Showcase Session
One of our most successful customers, UTC Reading, took to the stage in a Microsoft Solutions Showcase Session led by Director of Computing, Robert Bradley to talk about how they deliver and value Microsoft Certifications. An inspiring session where Robert showcased their strong focus on transforming and preparing students for their future career’s. He highlighted how they support students with everything from CV-writing and interview preparation to the day-to-day digital skills required to succeed in the modern workplace via professional qualifications (PQ’s).
In 2013, UTC Reading introduced Microsoft Certifications (PQ’s) and haven’t looked back. Robert walked through the UTC’s journey of embedding and instilling the value of Professional Qualifications into student life and how the Academy chain (Activate Learning Education Trust – ALET) now plan to embed PQ’s further across the group to prepare students for promising futures.
3. Microsoft Stand – Teacher Tools
Our joint stand with our valued partner Certiport in the Microsoft Teacher Tools section gave us the opportunity to speak with passionate educators from across the globe, new and existing customers, partners and friends. We discussed the value of Future Ready Skills through the delivery of Microsoft Certifications in Education. These certifications drive productivity in the classroom and increase employability prospects for students and adults and across the World.
Are you ready to build the future of Education?
A massive thank you to our partners Microsoft and Certiport, and all the amazing educators who helped make it the BEST BETT yet. Many brilliant discussions were had around Microsoft Future Ready Skills Certifications and we’re excited to build the future of education in
