The BCS Microsoft Certified Fundamentals Tech 10 Accreditation
Start your cloud computing career
The British Computer Society (BCS) and Prodigy Learning have worked together to accredit Microsoft Certified Fundamentals (MCF) Certifications. This unique partnership will offer further recognition and benefits to learners at UK Further & Higher Education institutions who purchase MCF certification exams from Prodigy Learning for delivery at a Certiport Authorised Testing Centre.
On successful completion of MCF certification, students can now receive an extra digital badge to showcase their BCS accredited course and gain access to a dedicated area of MyBCS (the BCS member portal) providing exclusive learning, access to CPD tools, PDP guidance and some taster courses on the latest digital tools and resources.
Completion also gives 20% off BCS membership. If students decide to take up full BCS membership, they will get direct access to a supportive community of industry experts and the opportunity to progress onto full Chartered IT Professional status.
Which Microsoft Certified Fundamentals (MCF) Certifications Qualify?
Microsoft Certified Fundamentals certification (MCF) places students on the path to successful future careers in artificial intelligence (AI), data science and cloud computing.
These exams are the first tier in Microsoft’s role-based certification program and currently include 8 unique certifications:
Each of these Microsoft Certified Fundamentals (MCF) certifications that cover the basics of AI, Cloud, Data, Security and more have now received the seal of approval from the British Computer Society (BCS – the Chartered Institute for IT), through its new Tech 10 Accreditation.
To receive this new BCS quality standard accreditation, courses must fulfil 10 criteria to demonstrate excellent course development and delivery standards. Microsoft Certified Fundamentals allows students and early career starters to demonstrate proficiency in the digital skills they need to thrive in the modern workplace.
