Exporter of the Year Finalist

Prodigy Learning has been shortlisted for a second successive year as a finalist in the SFA National Small Business Awards.  The aim of the awards is to celebrate the achievements of small business in Ireland, and to recognise the vital contribution of the small business sector to Irish industry.  Prodigy Learning is on a shortlist of five companies for the title of Exporter of the Year which will be awarded in March 2017.

Announcing the awards, Patricia Callan (SFA Director) commented: “The response to the awards programme serves as a reminder that Irish small companies are resilient, putting their best foot forward and seeking recognition for their efforts.”

“The SFA National Small Business Awards are now entering their thirteenth year and are a celebration of the achievements of the 238,000 small firms in Ireland, who collectively employ over 800,000 people, half the private sector workforce, and aim to promote excellence, achievement and innovation amongst small businesses in all sectors and parts of the country. The companies that have been announced as finalists this year represent all that is good about small business
.”

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny, TD, who is Patron of the Awards, stated that: “Small Firms have been central to Ireland’s recovery. I am delighted to support the SFA Awards again this year. Across Ireland there are thousands of people who go to work every day in small firms and they play an important role in our economy. It is fantastic to have these Awards to highlight the success of many Irish businesses and their constant drive to improve and seek new markets. The government will continue to support small firms and have made them a key part of our Regional Action Plan to spread the recovery to every region of Ireland.”

Andrew Flood (CEO, Prodigy Learning) said: “We are proud to be selected again as a finalist for Exporter of the Year in the SFA National Small Business Awards.  Having recently been crowned Certiport Global Partner of the Year, it is great to be recognised at home as an Irish success story.  Congratulations to the Prodigy Learning team on this achievement.  Most importantly, we’d like to thank our customers across the UK and Ireland who are driving this success.”
