Exporter of the Year Finalist

Prodigy Learning has been shortlisted for a third successive year as a finalist in the SFA National Small Business Awards.  The aim of the awards is to celebrate the achievements of small business in Ireland, and to recognise the vital contribution of the small business sector to Irish industry.  Prodigy Learning is on a shortlist of five companies for the title of Exporter of the Year which will be awarded in February 2018.

The finalists in the SFA National Small Business Awards 2018 have been officially announced by Sue O’Neill, SFA Chair and Chair of the SFA Awards Judging Panel. The aim of the awards is to celebrate the achievements of small business in Ireland, and to recognise the vital contribution of the small business sector to Irish industry. 38 companies have been selected as finalists, from 13 different counties, across eight categories.

Announcing the Finalists, Sue O’Neill (SFA Chair) commented:  “The response to the awards programme serves as a reminder that Irish small companies are resilient, putting their best foot forward and seeking recognition for their efforts.  As well as our seven award categories we also feature five of the best Emerging New Businesses (less than two years established) and I must say that given the quality of the businesses represented this year, entrepreneurship is alive and well in Ireland.”

An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, TD
(Patron of the Awards) stated that: “Every day 700,000 people across Ireland go to work in small firms and make an important contribution to their local communities and our economy. The SFA Awards are a great way to showcase the many successes of Irish small businesses, which help support the livelihood of families in every county nationwide. The Government is committed to supporting small firms as a vital part of our local and national economy and we will continue to build a business friendly environment in which they can thrive.”

Andrew Flood (CEO, Prodigy Learning) said: “We are proud to be selected again as a finalist for Exporter of the Year in the SFA National Small Business Awards.  Having recently been crowned Certiport EMEA Partner of the Year and announcing our new Sydney Office, it is great to be recognised at home as an Irish success story.  Congratulations to the Prodigy Learning team on this achievement.  Most importantly, we’d like to thank our customers who are driving this success.”
