Earlier this month, Long Stratton High School was presented with a Centre of Excellence Award for delivery of MOS certifications. These awards are presented by Prodigy Learning to recognise exceptional performance in delivering internationally recognised IT certifications from industry leaders such as Adobe, Autodesk, HP and Microsoft.
Prodigy Learning awards Centre of Excellence status annually to a small number of centres (academic institutions and private training providers) in the UK & Ireland to mark the delivery of over 250 IT certifications in the year. Long Stratton High School achieved this new recognition through particular success with delivery of the Microsoft Office Specialist certification programme.
The School was also presented with a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 as one the winner of our Spring is for Surface challenge for delivery of the highest number of MOS exams in March 2015.
Justin Bamforth (IT Manager, Long Stratton High School) commented: “2015 was a fantastic year for the Microsoft MOS programme. Our students have greatly benefitted from achieving these industry recognised certifications, giving them valuable skills and knowledge to take into their chosen career path.”
