Microsoft and Certiport have recently announced a number important changes to the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) programme certification exams. These updates have been based on customer feedback regarding availability of popular exams and necessary refreshes for new technologies.
Availability Update
- MTA Exam 98-365 Windows Server Admin
Microsoft has confirmed that the MTA Exam 98-365 (Windows Server Administration Fundamentals), which was scheduled to retire on July 31, 2016, will be extended to stay available in market until July 31, 2017.
Objective Domains Update
- MTA Exam 98-367 Security Fundamentals
Microsoft and Certiport previously announced that the Objective Domains for the MTA Security Fundamentals exam would be updated in 2016.
As of June 23, 2016, the exam was refreshed to include updates for Windows 10, in addition to updates to security and threat terms. Microsoft and Certiport previously announced that the Objective Domains for the MTA OS Fundamentals exam would be updated in 2016.
