New MTA – Software Testing
Microsoft and Certiport have announced a new addition to the Developer set of Microsoft Technology Associate exams. MTA Exam 98-379: Software Testing Fundamentals is now available!

Associate (MTA) is an entry-level IT professional certification from Microsoft that covers a range of IT Infrastructure, Developer and Database qualifications. MTA is the essential first step for any individual looking to pursue a successful career in IT.
The Software Testing Fundamentals exam is an ideal credential for students interested software development, software testing or in pursuing a career involving application lifecycle management. By validating fundamental software testing concepts such as creating tests, managing testing projects, and working with bugs, students demonstrate aptitude in this exciting field and can stand out in the job screening process.
This exam is designed to provide candidates with an assessment of their knowledge of fundamental testing concepts. It can also serve as a
stepping stone to Exam 70-497: Software Testing with Visual Studio 2012.
