MOS World Championship 2017

MOS World Championship 2017
The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) World Championship is a global competition that tests students' skills on Microsoft Office applications, operated and sponsored in the UK and Ireland by Prodigy Learning.  

In 2017 three students will win the trip of a lifetime to represent the UK and Ireland at the final round at Disneyland in Anaheim, California from July 30th to August 2nd and the chance to compete for the World Championship (with a top prize $7,500 USD)!

To select these Champions, Microsoft and Prodigy Learning invite students across the UK and Ireland to participate in the MOS Four Nations Championship and prove their mastery of Microsoft Office. 

Taking Part

To participate in the MOS Four Nations Championship, eligible students* must take and pass a MOS Excel, PowerPoint or Word (2013 or 2016) exam before May 15, 2017.  For more details and information on preparing your students, please visit the MOS Four Nations Championship website.

Four Nations Final

Three National Finalists each from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be invited to the MOS Four Nations Championship finals day at Microsoft UK in June. 

  • National Finalists will sit a MOS exam in their qualifying category and the Four Nations Champions will be crowned based on the results. The three Champions will have the opportunity to represent the UK and Ireland on an all-expenses paid trip to the MOS World Championship at Disneyland, California in July.
  • Also on the MOS Four Nations Championship finals day, the National Finalists will work as a National Team on a project to demonstrate their collaborative mastery of the three productivity tools and incorporate 21st Century skills in a fun and exciting way! Teams will present to a panel of judges for the chance to win the inaugural MOS Four Nations Project Award.
