BETT 2019 was our best BETT Show yet, exceeding previous year’s records and all our expectations. We had many key moments across the 4 days as we showcased the value of Future Ready Skills Certifications in education at BETT and as always, it was fantastic to connect and engage with so many educators and partners.
On the Friday of BETT, we launched CertMatters.Live
2019, our annual educator conference which will be held on 14th June in the British Library. 100 of the best educators at BETT received an official
Free invite from Prodigy Learning to celebrate the launch. To redeem your Free CertMatters.Live ticket, visit CertMatters.com Website

The huge social engagement on our @certmatters
Twitter account included amazing giveaways, #CERTatBETT candidate success photos, panel discussion insights and much more! Catch up with BETT 2019 - Twitter Highlights
if you missed them.
Three very note-worthy highlights from our experience at BETT 2019 are:
1. #CERTatBETT Microsoft Certifications Testing Lab
#CERTatBETT Microsoft Certifications Testing Lab
set a Record of 1013
Microsoft Certification Exams delivered across the 4 days. At BETT 2019, in partnership with Microsoft and Certiport, all attendees had the opportunity to experience a Microsoft Certification Exam for free, delivered for the first time ever on Compass
, the new web-based exam delivery platform from Certiport
, powered by Microsoft Azure
. All exams were delivered in the Cloud!
Among those experiencing Certification Exams, groups of students earned MOS Certification and digital badges which they shared on social platforms, proving their digital skills to employers when they enter the future workforce. One educator became a MOS Master in a day, completing four certifications and another educator achieved 7 MTA’s in 2 hours. We even had a family of four come in to complete their exams! Over 100 educators are returning to their classroom after BETT as Microsoft Certified Educators, full of confidence and certified in the use of technology in the classroom to support better outcomes for their learners.
Candidates success was amplified throughout BETT on @certmatters
account, congratulations to all those who left BETT with globally and industry recognised Microsoft Certifications, including Chris Rothwell
(Director of UK Education, Microsoft UK), Karen Kocher
(General Manager, Microsoft, 21st Century Jobs, Skills and Employability Worldwide) and Brooke Haag
(STEM Evangelist, Worldwide Education, Microsoft) all from our partner and host, Microsoft.
2. Future Ready Skills Certifications Booth
Our joint booth with Certiport in the Microsoft Partner Campus gave us the opportunity to speak with passionate educators from across the globe, new and existing customers, partners and friends discussing the value of Future Ready Skills through the delivery of Microsoft Certifications in Education. These certifications drive productivity in the classroom and increases employability prospects for students and adults.
was launched at BETT 2019 and attendees were the first in the world to experience as many certification exams as they wanted, including Microsoft Certified Educator, Microsoft Technology Associate and Microsoft Office Specialist Certification exams.
3. Increasing Employability with Future Ready Skills – Microsoft Solutions Showcase Session
We delivered a showcase session with Rhondda Cynon Taf Borough Council (RCT) Wales on the Microsoft Solutions Showcase Stage, titled ‘Increasing Employability with Future Ready Skills’. An inspiring panel discussion in which RCT showcased their successful digital transformation, implementing a computer science curriculum to 128 schools with the new Coding in Minecraft credential, Microsoft Certifications & Future Ready Skills with the help of Prodigy Learning.
Panelists included Beth Watson (Director of Channel and Partner Marketing, Microsoft), Brooke Haag (STEM Evangelist, Worldwide Education, Microsoft), Jeff Johnson (Senior Business Development Manager, Microsoft), James Protheroe (Assistant Headteacher, Darran Park Primary School), Matthew Davies (Deputy Headteacher, Treorchy Comprehensive School), and Martyn Silizen (14-19 Strategy Officer, Rhondda Cynon Taf Borough Council) who accompanied Prodigy Learning’s Sarah Snowdon (Digital Skills Specialist) to discuss their unique success story.

resulted in students being employed
within the NHS
