Earlier this month, Autodesk and Prodigy Learning hosted a very successful series of teacher training days on the STEM Module
at schools around Northern Ireland.
Launched in 2009, the STEM Module is a mobile laboratory and workshop equipped with everything required to deliver a state of the art learning experience to schools across the province. Pictured with the STEM Module in the background are Billy Breen (Regional Account Manager, Prodigy Learning), Nicola Carey (Sullivan Upper School) and Mike Westlake (UK Manager, Autodesk Education).
The teachers undertook an intensive one day course on Autodesk Inventor software and sat the Autodesk Certified User (ACU) Inventor certification exam. In a fantastic result, the events saw a 100% certification success rate, highlighting how achievable these qualifications are and how they can benefit today's students.
As Autodesk software is now available free of charge to academic institutions in the UK and Ireland, there is a big opportunity to utlilise this to deliver market leading training and certification for students. Click here

Mike Westlake (UK Manager, Autodesk Education) commented “The STEM Module was a great success and we certified over 30 teachers in just 3 days. They are now certified users of Autodesk Inventor 2015, which is an industry recognised qualification and counts towards their CPD. Autodesk wanted to extend their thanks to the great people at the STEM module and Prodigy Learning for ensuring the event was a success
