The NHS, the largest employer in Europe, worked with Prodigy Learning to create a MOS certification programme to raise standards and productivity. A survey of over 2,000 learners showed 90% of staff increased productivity!


De Montfort University (DMU) has played a key role in the launch of the new HP Institute - an academic programme that will provide students with the business-ready IT skills that are in deficit within the industry.

Ultimo TAFE were introduced to the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification program in 2015. MTA measures students’ fundamental IT and software development knowledge and serves as a stepping stone to advanced technology level certifications ahead of building a successful career in IT. Ultimo TAFE IT Department launched and began to deliver MTA certification to their students alongside other IT programs in 2015. Since implementing the MTA program over 1,000 exams have been successfully delivered, improving student productivity and employability.

Embedding the MTA certification program at Ultimo aligns with TAFE NSW ambition to be the leading global brand building skills for success in today’s and tomorrow’s world. MTA is yielding real benefits for Ultimo TAFE students, ensuring they are equipped with the most current globally recognised digital skills required by employers.

This commitment is achieved through the close, working relationships that their teaching staff have with industry partners like Prodigy Learning, and strong support for students gaining qualifications to succeed in the workplace.
