Seven Architecture (ACU & ACP)

A success story for Autodesk | Corporate | UK

Since Seven Architecture was established in 2006 it has built a reputation for exceptional design work, within both public and private sectors. Seven operate from four design studios in Manchester, Harrogate, London and Caernarfon and have steadily expanded to take on many exceptionally talented employees. Each employee is committed to developing Seven’s range of skills and offering their clients a fully committed, professional service.

Due to its commitment of excellence to their client’s, employees at Seven extensively use state-of-the-art Autodesk Revit software to produce exceptional designs. As part of its CPD programme, Seven wanted to have its employee’s professional capabilities recognised globally within the industry. Autodesk Certified User (ACU) and Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) are the two Certification programmes provided by Autodesk.

Seven offer its employees a full online learning solution, practice tests and globally industry-recognised Autodesk Certificates. Seven set up as an authorised testing centre allowing it to internally deliver ACU and ACP Certificate exams to employees. This enabled the company to invest in its employees, offering the opportunity to continually develop and validate their professional skills. Delivering ACU and ACP certificate programmes internally significantly reduces employee’s time spent away from the office, meaning Seven can continue to provide customers with exceptional service. 17 of Seven Architecture’s employees have already successfully received either ACU or ACP Certificates. Andrew Burningham (Associate Director, Seven Architecture) “We were looking for a time and cost-effective way to invest in our staff and to ensure they were recognised for their abilities using Autodesk Revit software which is critical to their roles. As ACU and ACP certification is the only qualification offered by Autodesk and is globally recognised, we were particularly keen to ensure that our staff had this certification as part of our commitment to providing the very best service to our customers and developing our team’s professional skills.” “The package which Prodigy provide to us enabled us to manage the training and certification on our own terms without the need for staff to be away from the office for extended periods which can impact on the service we offer to customers. So far, 17 colleagues, including myself, have achieved either ACU or ACP certification.

Andrew Lenehan (Regional Account Manager, Prodigy Learning) added: “From my first conversation with Andrew at Seven, their commitment to investing in staff development and the service they offer to customers was clear. ACU and ACP is the only official certification available for the Autodesk suite of software. It demonstrates proficiency in effective use of the software, crucially, not only in the user’s own opinion or that of the company but by Autodesk themselves. I am delighted that so many members of the Seven team have successfully completed the certification and officially set themselves above their peers”.
